Alison Hild
Alison provides a healing space that is filled with compassion, collaboration and attunement. She uses a relational approach and believes in the power of a safe and connected therapeutic relationship where clients can come as they are. Implementing an eclectic range of modalities, Alison navigates sessions through an attachment-based, psychodynamic approach to explore how earlier life experiences and relationships may be impacting current circumstances and patterns. Informed by depth psychology, Alison creates a safe space to explore the depths of each person’s unconscious inner world. She has witnessed the power of this work leading to deeper healing, freeing of repressed emotions, and individuation. Alison is trained in mindfulness and she utilizes somatic practices to promote holistic healing.
Alison earned her Master's degree in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University Los Angeles, where she specialized in Spiritual and Depth Psychology. She completed her training at the Center for Professional Counseling in North Hollywood. Alison is a trauma-trained clinician and offers both EMDR and Brainspotting to clients. Prior to becoming a therapist, she worked in the music industry and worked collaboratively with artists. Alison's background in the arts has informed her passion for supporting creative minded clients in the entertainment field.
Alison has experience working with adults from various backgrounds, honoring the unique cultural and life experiences of each client. She also offers play therapy for children and therapy for parents as she has extensive experience in this area. Alison has worked with a variety of issues and enjoys helping clients in embracing their identity, increasing self-love and navigating relational challenges. She works with clients who may be struggling with anxiety, self-esteem, creative blocks, existential dread, trauma, communication struggles, career issues, depression and narcissistic abuse recovery.
Alison is a Registered Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (#136606), working under the clinical supervision of Bonnie Rae (#91089).
